UFSM Digital: An App for the University Community
UFSM Digital is a free Android application developed by Serviços e Informações do Brasil for the students and staff of the Federal University of Santa Maria. The app provides several features, including the ability to check the current balance and menu of the university restaurant, make reservations and cancel meals, view the purchase history of the last ten days, and renew book loans from the library.
In addition, the app allows users to check the schedules of different bus lines, filter the lines, and view the times in the UFSM -> Bairro and Bairro -> UFSM directions. For students, there is an option to view the current semester's grades and absences, as well as the class schedule separated by the day of the week. For TAE (Technical-Administrative Staff), the app offers the feature to preview the electronic point and view upcoming vacations.
The app also allows users to download the RU menu, bus schedules, and class schedules for offline use. The data is updated daily when connected to the internet, and users can also choose to update the data manually through the "Settings" option.
